Individual and Couple's THERAPY
I only do THERAPY in my office in Seattle. If you want to do the Graphic Coaching Program click here. I sometimes use SOME of the maps from the Graphic program in my therapy sessions, but not the whole program.
If you are interested in EATING DISORDERS THERAPY click here . There’s lots of information and resources.
For INDIVIDUAL THERAPY:
I have been a therapist for 36 years. I work with lots of issues. (I think I can say I’ve seen it all:) Most people come to see me to work on these issues.
- Eating Disorders: again, click on the link above for lots more info.
- They have been dating people that are like children or not available, or just want sex. They want to find someone they can have a safe, respectful relationship with. Not just hang out and hook up. I am hearing lots of stories of dating in Seattle. OMG:) It does take a lot of knowledge to know what to look for, what your pattern is, why you have this pattern and what to do to change it. When you understand what is going on, dating can be more fun and not such a big problem.
- Couples therapy, see below.
- They are having trouble with their work situation and need to figure out what to do about it or find another job or career.
- They are wanting to find an authentic career that they really enjoy (most of the time), not just a job.

People find me easy to talk to. I am upfront, honest and to the point:) I provide a friendly, comfortable place to talk and learn how to change the things you want to change in your life. I give lots of info and education. I don’t just sit and listen. I am very practical and give homework so you can keep learning when you are not in my office. I only do THERAPY in my office in Seattle.
I use approaches developed by several people in my work with Relationships. A few of my favorites are: Harvelle Hendrix, who developed Imago Therapy; John Gottman from the University of Washington; and Michelle Weiner-Davis. Books by these people can be found under on my Bookshelf. Again, my approach is very practical and respects each person’s point of view. There are specific things that can be taught to help couples have good relationships. If both people are committed to working on it, it can be good. Most people just aren’t taught the skills needed to have a good relationship; luckily, they can be taught. I do a lot of teaching in these sessions.
Couples:
Why Fools Fall In Love and How Smart People Make It Last…*
…for heterosexual couples, lesbians, gays and people married and not married. I have had many funny experiences: I talk to one person and they tell me their side and then I meet their significant other and get a whole new perspective! I learned a long time ago that it takes 2!!! I am very practical in couples work, I look at what is working and teach how to have it work better.
Who Needs This?
Couples who want to:
- figure out when a pop can is a pop can (you know, the one your partner leaves on the counter all the time)
- learn why our partners are sooo annyoing!
- have some calm in their day-to-day lives.
- learn to get what they need from their significant other.
- build on what does work in their relationship to make it work better.
- get their point across so their partner will listen.
Fees and Appointments for Couples:
For couples therapy, fees are $180 for a 45 minute session, We will start with a 45 minute session and
then decide from there about future sessions. I work pretty fast, so sometimes people don’t need more. Insurance does not
cover couples therapy. Payment is due at the time of the session.
I am only able to take a few new clients at this time. If you

If I am full, I will give you a referral to someone
I think would be good for YOU to work with.
