What Do I Do When? And the TELECLASSES that answer the question.

Do you wonder, “What do I do when…?” Throughout my years in practice, this is what my clients most frequently ask. Lets answer them!
What do I do when …
- …my family sends me an e-mail filled with put downs and “gotchas.”
“I told you that he was no good, you always pick those unavailable men.” - …it looks like my boyfriend is texting another woman.
“NO YOU CAN’T look at my cell phone. You are so untrusting!” “It makes me want to date other women.” - …my boss says, “Yes, your work is pretty good.” Yet, the boss is really saying you can never be good enough.
“You did get some good feedback from your co-worker, BUT it is still not going to affect your evaluation.” - …my co-worker makes twice as much as I do.
Why won’t my boss recognize that I put in more work than any of the others and give me a raise? - I had a great date and then I don’t hear from him.
(If I had a dime for every time I’ve heard that one!)
These are just a very few of the issues we will discuss. The teleclasses are for everyone, not just people with eating disorders. The class format is direct and interactive. You can be anonymous, phone in, ask questions and get answers that will truly help you deal with life challenges/problems.
My goal is to provide/demonstrate/teach insights and effective responses for handling situations with ease and confidence. You can have strategies and words “at the ready.” You don’t have to be haunted by the after-event-instant-replay of “why didn’t I say …?”
This is plain talk about tricky personal interactions. This is about the “know-how” and how to get it. We will explore related topics in a straightforward manner so we can better understand what impacts our reactions. These include:
- Assertiveness
When are you assertive and when are you a BITCH? - Boundaries
How do you know when to say STAY and when to say GO? When it is about you and when it is about them? - Co-Dependency
What the heck is it really? How to know whether you are doing it or if you are surrounded by co-dependents. - How to ask for more money?
I deserve it. Why won’t they give it to me? - Friends, lovers and family
What do I put up with and when do I say something about it? - Lover… or lovers?
Why do they keep treating me the same way? They all tell me they love me, but aren’t available, I just have to keep chasing them! I am tired! What can I do to change it? - Feelings
I have such BIG feelings. I don’t know how to deal with them. Even my little ones suck. - Overdoing
When do I stop trying and trying and trying? Others seem to get what they want. I just try and can’t. - Enough about me. What do you think about me?
Everyone seems to think I am _____. Ways to manage what others think of me. - I don’t know what I want to do with my life.
YES YOU DO! I promise. Everyone knows what they want. They just have reasons why they SHOULDN’T.
